Tom Golden

Thomas Golden LCSW is an author, speaker and psychotherapist in private practice.  He  has written several books on related topics including the The Way Men Heal and acclaimed work, Swallowed by a Snake, which is excerpted on his web site: www.webhealing.com.   Tom presents workshops and lectures on topics of healing and grief in the United States, Europe, Canada, and Australia. His workshops are informative and entertaining, with a unique balance of humor and tears. Tom has been working in the field of death and dying for over thirty years.  He is a faculty member and mentor for Sacred Art of Living Center programs including the international Anamcara Project (learn more at sacredartofliving.org).

 

Golden’s work has been featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, U.S. News and World Report and also on CNN, CBS Evening News, ESPN and the NFL Channel.  He served as vice-chairman of the Maryland Commission for Men’s Health. Tom presently lives in Gaithersburg Maryland with his wife of thirty years. He delights in both his wife and his daughter and son.
