Sacred Art of Living Institute

Soul & Science is being created by the Sacred Art of Living Institute in Bend, Oregon  USA.  In 1996 Richard and Mary Groves established Sacred Art of Living as a first-of-its-kind virtual school focused on whole person caregiving.  Their vision brought together more than a life time of experience in professional health care development, cultural and inter-spiritual studies, depth psychology and end-of-life care.  Our ‘north star’ program is the Sacred Art of Living & Dying series, the nation’s first comprehensive training and certification program for emotional-spiritual wellness in end-of-life care.  Over 20,000 health care professionals have completed this two-year training series which has been taught throughout North America, Europe, Asia and India.  Other Sacred Art programs include The Anamcara Project, an internship for deep training in the healing arts.  Our mentors include some of the most respected names in the field of healing healthcare.

Over time, the mission of Sacred Art of Living Center has expanded to acute health care, issues of aging and chronic illness. Professional and lay caregivers from all professions and backgrounds testify that these trainings are life-changing at both personal and vocational levels.

Soul & Science draws from a highly respected international faculty whose clinical experience and best practices bring together state-of-the-art health sciences with the deeply human dimensions of caregiving.

Sacred Art of Living Center programs have expanded to include many other workshops and retreats including The Anamcara Project, a unique apprenticeship that applies the spiritual wisdom of our ancestors with clinically-proven best practices.
