In 2012 she set up her independent journey “theplan.is”, to pursue her passion to create art installations, exhibitions, stage designs and festival structures. Two years ago she embarked on a journey to reconnect with nature and explore the world of ecological design, sustainability and permaculture. Along this journey she felt inspired to research and raise awareness on pressing environmental matters and recently created a campaign to spread awareness of deforestation. This led Irene on a 5 month-long reforestation mission in the Amazon rainforest.

David Moen, M.D., is starting a healthcare strategy and physician leadership consulting company based in Stillwater, MN. At the time of this talk, he was President of Fairview Physician Associates (FPA) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. FPA is a provider network of more than 1,300 members that is affiliated with Fairview Health Services, an integrated health system of more than 20,000 employees and 3,000 aligned physicians. As President of FPA, Dave led the development of Fairview Health Network—an integrated, multi-specialty provider network built on the belief that providers are in the best position to transform care. Dr. Moen has held various leadership roles including medical lead for Fairview in partnership with Target Corporation, medical director of emergency and urgent care at Fairview Lakes Medical Center, member of the Executive Committee of the Fairview Lakes Health Services Board of Directors, member of the Board of Directors for Lakes Region Emergency Medical Services and board member for the Minnesota Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
